Welcome to WETA FINANCE INC. (WETA). WETA is a corporation established primarily to assist small entities in accessing short term funding to deal with urgent specific working capital requirements to finance a specific written contract/agreement, without the hassles and delays normally experienced when accessing short term funding from other financial institutions.
Who we are
WETA is a Barbados owned finance company, incorporated for the sole purpose of providing financial services to small business entities operating in Barbados. Initial services being offered by WETA are short term working capital financing, lease financing, factoring of receivables, preparation of strategic business plans, and the preparation of credit proposals to financial institutions.
Corporate & Social Responsibilities
WETA's objective is to conduct its business affairs within the established financial rules and governance of the financial sector, whilst ensuring that all the requisite company laws and guidelines, required by the Government of Barbados are respected and adhered to. Additionally, WETA has a social responsibility to the small business sector of Barbadian society, to ensure that this sector remains viable, wherein employment for the wider citizenry can be sustained to secure a better life for the people of Barbados.
